Based in cosmopolitan Bunbury, the centrepiece of this four-day adventure is the unique Nannup Music Festival, celebrating its 32nd year presenting the best in new, emerging and indigenous music against the backdrop of Australia’s unique bushland. When you’re not enjoying the musical talent of the stage acts or buskers, there are workshops, and food and artisanal markets. A side trip to Balingup takes in the Old Cheese Factory – now filled with local produce, arts, crafts and antiques – and the Holberry Sculpture Walk, showcasing the work of talented West Australian sculptors in four acres of landscaped gardens.
