15–21 MAR 2021 | 7 DAYS
This fun and adventurous seven-day road trip takes in both friendly but sophisticated Geraldton and sleepy but stunning Kalbarri. On the way to Geraldton, you’ll get the chance to feed and cuddle your favourite fuzzy animals – but not the crocs! – at the Greenough Wildlife Park. Looking out onto the Indian Ocean, the Museum of Geraldton showcases Yamaji history and culture, the local natural history as well as some notable historical shipwrecks. You’ll need your camera to capture the incredible views from the Kalbarri Skywalk, perched on the rim of the 100-metre deep Murchison Gorge. You'll also enjoy the Gorge from below on an amazing sunset cruise along the river where you’ll get the chance to see a host of birds, including ospreys, kites, pelicans, egrets, black swans and the local white-breasted sea eagles, as well as emus, kangaroos and even goats!
