Group holidays offer the benefit of shared guest service costs and social experiences while customised individual holidays offers complete travel and service flexibility. Our services are designed to suit a range of abilities, tastes and styles to make travelling safe , memorable and fun for everyone.

Whether you are best supported by shared or individual support will depend on the itinerary you choose and the level of personal support that suits you.  We offer the following service ratios:

Independent (1:4)

One guest service staff to four guests. These services are best suited for low level support with daily living, safety, communication and social behaviours. Service costs are subject to minimum tour numbers.

Assistance (1:2)

One guest service staff to two guests. These services are best suited for moderate support and assistance with daily living, personal care, reduced mobility, safety, communication and / or social behaviours.

Assistance (1:1)

One guest service staff to one guest. These services are best suited for guests requiring high level assistance with most / all daily living tasks, mobility, personal safety, communication and / or social behaviours. 

Customised (1:1)

Customised (1:1)

One guest service staff to one guest. These services are available on all individual holidays and are suited for guests with low to high personal needs.  This service provided guests with maximum travel flexibility and choice.

Wheelchair Guests

At Discovery Holidays we have designed packages and tours to cater to our travellers in wheelchairs.  Our experienced team are here to assist our guests travel without barriers and make the most of their itinerary.  All guests who require assistance to operate a wheelchair will always require 1:1 assistance.
